What many people don’t realise is Hpv Warts is a sexually transmitted infection caused by Human Papilloma Virus (HPV). You many known this condition as genital warts. HPV Warts is more difficult to treat than gonorrhoea or syphilis as HPV Warts can have a period where the infection lies dormant in your body. This means that it can be spread without the person even know that they are infected. Both infections have periods when they lie dormant and periods of flare ups. Therefore it is important to make sure to practice safe sex at all times by using a condom. If you have unprotected sex you have a 70% of passing the infection onto your partner. This disease can also be spread through skin to skin contact of an infected area. If the warts are particularly small the person might not even realise that they have the infection. Condoms are not full proof as the warts can appear in areas not covered by a condom. Quite often a female will not even know they have the warts and it is only when they are checked by a doctor or have a pap smear test that they find out. It is really important for women who are sexually active to get regular check ups. If HPV Warts is left untreated it could lead to some serious conditions such as pelvic inflammatory diseases or cancer. It just proves again how important it is for sexually active people to get regular check ups. Hpv Warts are raised bumps or lumps, they can appear in their own or in clusters. Generally they are painless but they might itch a bit. Some people look on the internet for pictures of warts to help them to see if that is what they have. Sometimes the warts can be pink, other times more flesh colored or grey, a lot of people say they are similar to a clauliflower in shape. Some warts might go away without treatment, but more often then not they require treatment to get rid of them.
If you choose to speak to your doctor they will discuss various options including burning the warts off. Another option is to order a reputable treatment that you can use in the comfort of your own home. The choice is yours and if one option does not work please do not worry because there are plenty options out there.
